PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana — 2026 subsidy guide
For eligible homes, the central scheme pays a cash subsidy after the system is installed and net-metered. UVR prepares and files the application with your DISCOM paperwork.
₹30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW, plus ₹18,000 for the third kW, capped at ₹78,000. A 1 kW system is ₹30,000, 2 kW is ₹60,000, and 3 kW and above stay at ₹78,000 in our calculator.
Housing societies and RWAs are estimated at ₹18,000 per kW, up to the scheme cap, for common-area load. Your sanction letter is the final number.
UVR’s Gujarat on-grid rate list applies central subsidy only. There is no separate Gujarat state rooftop top-up in that list, and the website calculator does not add one for Gujarat.
Indicative Gujarat installed cost on the Rayzon 550 Wp list is ₹57,000 per kW below 3 kW and ₹54,000 per kW from 3 kW. Other module brands on the same list differ. National (non-Gujarat) benchmark on our rate sheet is ₹69,100 per kW.
You need an eligible residential electricity connection, a roof that can take the array, and the documents the national portal and your DISCOM ask for. UVR’s survey checks roof, shadow and electrical setup before anyone promises a size.
Subsidy is paid by the government to the beneficiary after commissioning. It is not a discount UVR can guarantee in cash on the day of booking.
