Warranty Terms

Two different warranties apply: UVR’s workmanship warranty on the installation, and the module, inverter and structure warranties issued by the manufacturers.

UVR states a 5-year workmanship warranty on the installation we carry out, covering workmanship defects in mounting, cabling and commissioning that we performed.

It does not cover damage from unauthorised modification, roof leaks that pre-date the install, storm or accident damage, or failure to allow reasonable access for inspection.

Solar modules, inverters and batteries carry the warranty printed by that manufacturer (including performance warranties, which for many modules are described over 25–30 years). Those claims are made under the manufacturer’s terms. UVR helps you raise them for systems we installed.

Structures we specify as HDGI are described on the site with a 5-year structure warranty. The exact brand and term on your project are in your quotation.
